How SMS Data Is Used

• SMS access is used only to detect and extract information related to financial transactions.
• The app processes SMS text locally on the device.
• Tunu Nexus does not transmit, store, upload, sell, or share SMS content externally.
• SMS data is never used for marketing, analytics, advertising, or tracking.
• If you choose not to grant SMS permission, you may still use all other features of the app, including manual transaction entry.

When We Request Access

Tunu Nexus only requests this permission:

• After informing you in clear language within the app
• Only when you choose to enable the SMS import feature
• Only after you provide explicit consent

User Control

You remain in control at all times. You may:

• Deny SMS permission
• Revoke SMS permission at any time through your device settings
• Delete any transactions created in the app

If you enable Google Drive backup, the App uploads an encrypted file to your personal Google Drive. The encryption key never leaves your device, meaning only you can access the backup.

• Basic device data (e.g., OS version, device model)

This information contains **no financial data**, **no personal identifiers**, and is used only to improve the App.

4.1 Local Storage
